Nadia's place was great -- clean, quiet, and comfortable, in a secure, pleasant building with a central courtyard and a deck with great city views. Walking one block toward the city gets you to the Metro stop and a bunch of local restaurants. We had the most-popular ramen at Daikokuya and an order of gyoza and both were delicious! Walking one block South takes you into the Arts District, with more good restaurants and a very-cool, huge art space called Hauser & Wirth in a converted industrial building, including a very-popular restaurant. The parking was easily managed and affordable, though we were out and about for most of the time that the meters were running. We also enjoyed walking to the Last Bookstore and exploring its meandering aisles, and visiting the historic LA Flower Mart for gorgeous wholesale flowers and accessories. I'd like to return to explore the area more!
